1.0 Purpose
These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter “Terms”) govern the contractual relationship between Hotel Mona, Grand Rue 81, 1820 Montreux, operated by Seghor S.A. (hereinafter “the Hotel”), and any person making a reservation or staying at the Hotel (he reinafter “the Guest”). They apply to all accommodation services and related services.
2. Reservations
2.1 A reservation is considered final upon confirmation by the Hotel (by email or booking platform).
2.2 Any reservation implies full acceptance of these Terms.
2.3 The Hotel reserves the right to refuse or cancel a reservation in case of invalid payment details or exceptional circumstances.
2.4 Room occupancy must not exceed the maximum capacity. Additional persons require prior approval; otherwise access may be denied or extra charges applied.
2.5 Reservations may only be made by persons aged 18 or over.
3. Prices and Payment
3.1 Prices are in Swiss Francs (CHF) and include VAT unless otherwise stated.
3.2 City taxes are excluded and shown separately.
3.3 Depending on the rate, payment is due at booking or upon arrival.
3.4 The Guest authorizes the Hotel to charge the provided payment method according to the rate conditions.
3.5 In case of unjustified chargeback, the Guest remains liable for all due amounts and related costs.
4. Credit Card Guarantee and Pre -Authorization
4.1 A valid credit card is required to guarantee the reservation.
4.2 The Hotel may perform a pre -authorization prior to arrival.
4.3 The Guest authorizes the Hotel to charge the payment method in particular for: late cancellation or no -show, non -refundable bookings, damages or missing items, excessive cleaning, unpaid services or consumption.
5. Cancellation and Modification Policy
5.1 Flexible Rate (Best Available Rate)
Free cancellation or modification up to 48 hours before arrival. Example: arrival on the 10th → cancel by the 7th at 23:59. After that or in case of no -show, the first night will be charged. The Hotel may resell the room if no notice is received.
5.2 Non -Refundable Rate
Full payment required at booking. No refunds, changes or cancellations allowed.
6. Early Departure
6.1 Flexible rate: no charge if notified before 12:00 on departure day
6.2 Non -refundable rate: full stay remains payable
7. Check -in and Check -out
7.1 Check-in from 15:00
7.2 Check -out until 12:00
7.3 Early check -in or late check -out subject to availability and possible charges
7.4 Without guarantee, rooms may be released after 18:00 if arrival is not communicated
7.5 A valid ID must be presented at check -in
7.6 The registered guest is financially responsible for all obligations related to the stay
8. Room Allocation
The Hotel cannot guarantee specific room numbers or floors. Requests are subject to availability.9. Deposit and Damages
9.1 A deposit or pre -authorization may be required
9.2 The Guest is liable for all damages
9.3 The Hotel may charge damages after departure
9.4 The Hotel is non -smoking. Smoking only allowed in designated areas. Cleaning fees apply in case of violation.
10. Guest Obligations
10.1 Respectful behavior is required
10.2 Misconduct may result in immediate eviction without refund
10.3 Quiet hours from 22:00 to 07:00 must be respected
10.4 Pets allowed at CHF 15 per night
11. Booking Platforms
Reservations via third parties are subject to these Terms and the platform’s conditions. In case of conflict, platform terms prevail.
12. Liability
Liability is governed by Swiss law. Liability for personal belongings limited to CHF 1,000 unless gross negligence or intent. No liability for indirect damages.
13. Force Majeure
The Hotel is not liable for events beyond its control.
14. Data Protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with Swiss law.
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
Swiss law applies. Place of jurisdiction is Montreux (VD), subject to mandatory legal provisions.
16. Final Provisions
Final Provisions
Invalid provisions do not affect the others. The Hotel reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time.
